Learning and ADHD Disability Evaluations for K–12 Students

Looking for Answers and IEP Services for your Child?

We Evaluate the Following Diagnostic Areas:

Evaluations for Dyslexia and Other Learning Disabilities

Is your child struggling with reading, writing, or math? Our comprehensive learning disability testing identifies specific challenges such as dyslexia (reading difficulties), dysgraphia (writing challenges), and dyscalculia (math difficulties). Through detailed educational assessments, we evaluate your child’s cognitive and academic skills to create a clear picture of their unique learning profile. An accurate diagnosis helps teachers and parents target learning gaps effectively, empowering your child to make meaningful progress in school.

ADHD Evaluations

Our ADHD testing and assessment services provide a thorough evaluation of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) symptoms that may impact academic performance, social interactions, and daily functioning. We assess patterns of inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity—such as difficulty sustaining focus, easy distractibility, and frequent forgetfulness—to deliver an accurate diagnosis. With a clear understanding of ADHD, individuals and families can access effective treatment plans and school accommodations.

Our Evaluation Process for Grades K-12 at SoCal Educational Evaluations:

Start by completing our Free Consultation Form — this helps us get to know a little about your child and their evaluation needs.

One of our lead educational psychologists will then reach out to you for a free 20-minute Intake Consultation phone call to discuss your concerns and recommend the best type of testing.

Testing sessions will be scheduled either virtually or in-person, depending on what works best for you and your child. Most evaluations are completed in just 1–2 sessions (around 90 minutes each session).

During testing, we’ll assess your child’s abilities using a cognitive IQ test along with any processing and academic tests needed to fully understand their learning profile and areas where support may be needed.

Once all testing is complete, we will prepare a comprehensive and easy-to-understand report within 3–7 days.

Finally, we’ll meet with you to go over the results in detail and offer thoughtful recommendations to support your child’s success — whether it’s classroom accommodations, instructional strategies, or help through an IEP or 504 Plan.
